Father mourns son 'tortured in Syria'

While the U.S. imposes sanctions on Syria's president and the ruling elite the crackdown on protests continues leaving more than 2,000 dead including more than 100 children who were tortured, before being killed.

Sadly America fully supported the Syrian government even though the human rights of its citizens were constantly violated. Syria was one of the C.I.A.'s destinations for those caught up in the extraordinary Rendition Program as the government was well versed in the use of torture.
