Two Researchers At Yale have Created A Cloud Atlas

Yale researchers Adam Wilson and Walter Jetz took fifteen years satellite pictures and created  a massively detailed cloud database.
The imagines were taken from two NASA satellites called Aqua and Terra.

Such images can provide a lot of detailed information about life here on earth. The map above reflects seasonal cloud coverage.
