Activists Call Jail Uprising 'Act of Civil Disobedience'

 

‘The uprising happened because people are living in inhumane, unconstitutional conditions’ — More than 100 people who are incarcerated at a St. Louis jail took over part of the facility and staged a protest over mistreatment during the pandemic.
