'Stolen' totem pole returned to Canada by Scottish museum

 

After almost a century and a journey of thousands of miles, a totem pole taken from Canada has returned home. The Ni'isjoohl memorial pole has been in Scotland since it was sold to the National Museum by Canadian anthropologist Marius Barbeau in 1929.
