Is Ebola spiralling out of control in the DRC?

Doctors are alarmed by the rapid spread of the worst outbreak in the country's history.

Doctors say they're terrified by the spread of the worst-ever Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
More than 1,100 people have died since August.
There are 1,760 reported cases; a fifth of them in the past month alone.
This is the 10th Ebola outbreak in the DRC since the disease was discovered there more than 40 years ago.

Big Wata: The Surfers of Sierra Leone (video)

Members of Sierra Leone's only surf club dream of putting Africa on the surfing map.

In 2007, the fishermen of a small fishing community in the West African country of Sierra Leone witnessed an unusual sight.
It was an NGO worker in the ocean. But he wasn't swimming. He was standing on top of a board, riding the waves.
The first - and only - surf club in Sierra Leone, it is at the heart of the local community: a source of pride and, occasionally, of tension.

North Korea Takes Ebola Fears To New And Dizzing Heights

North Korea isn't known for being subtle about anything but one had to figure they couldn't out fear and stupid the Republican Governors of New Jersey and Maine Chris Christie and Paul Le Page   you'd be wrong.

It's not like traveling to North Korea is ever easy or that government minders follow you around like lost puppies but here is the government of Kim-Jong un imposing the most draconian Ebola measures in the world.

The Guardian was among the small number of foreigners allowed to fly in after the ban on tour groups but before the imposition of quarantine on all those entering from abroad. The fear is tangible; a factory and a research centre which journalists were due to visit cancelled the invitations, citing Ebola concerns.
“It’s Ebola hysteria,” said one foreigner in the country. “People are really scared.”
Each night, the country’s television news broadcasts a lengthy section on the disease, filling the screen with images of grieving families, ailing patients and medical workers in protective gear – as well as some coverage of its own measures, including footage of the session at the children’s hospital.
On Friday the state news agency KCNA announced in a one-sentence news report: “A brisk hygienic information service goes on in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to prevent the outbreak of Ebola.”
But the news bulletins appear to have alarmed rather than reassured many North Koreans.

If your searching for new a better methods for Ebola fear mongering please contact North Korea.

As America Spins Into Ebola Panic

America is spinning into full Ebola panic at supersonic speed with the ever helpful media leading the charge.   Breathlessly reporting on each new infected person as if they were going to explode and cause a pandemic.  Given all that craziness there even more extreme cases of the complete bat shit insanity.

For example there is the TERRORIST DOOR KNOB

Terrorists could collect samples of infected body fluids, and then place them on doorknobs, handrails or airplane tray tables, allowing Ebola to spread quietly before officials even realize that a biological attack has taken place.
Think it can’t happen? If an Ebola-infected Liberian, Thomas Eric Duncan, was able to fly to Dallas, what is to stop an Ebola-infected terrorist from doing the same?
Former Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer has also weighed in, asking people not to rule out any threats because they're beyond imagining. Yet there is a problem: The Ebola threat might be containable. Two days ago, the World Health Organization pronounced Nigeria to be Ebola-free. It's been five days since any American was diagnosed with the virus. In Dallas, 43 of the 48 people exposed to patient zero have been cleared. Yes, to look at the CDC's information programs or to watch isolated news reports is to see panic breaking out:

Then there is Republican Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky and his cocktail parties of death

“I think from the very beginning they haven’t been completely forthright with us. They’ve so wanted to downplay this that they really I don’t think have been very accurate in their description of the disease. For example, they say, ‘Don’t worry, it’s only mixture of bodily fluids through direct contact.’ So what are you thinking? I’m thinking like AIDS, you don’t get AIDS at a cocktail party so my level of alarm goes down. And if I am treating somebody or looking at them around, I’m thinking, oh no it’s like AIDS, I am not going to get it. But it really isn’t like AIDs. And then they’ll say in a little lower voice, ‘Oh, but direct contact can be three feet from somebody.’ But if you ask any American on the street, ‘Do you think direct contact is standing three feet from somebody?’ Because they so much wanted to downplay that ‘We were in charge, we know everything about this,’ I think they made mistakes in not really being accurate about talking about the disease.”

Finally President Obama's New Ebola Czar "Wants To Kill Us All."

Even though an Ebola Czar has been appointed its really all a ruse that will lead to the death of everyone.

Via conservative American Thinker columnist M. Catharine Evans—author of such classics as "Beyonce Sex Video May Help Push STD Rates Even Higher," "Does Russia Want Alaska Back," and "Another Stealth Jihadi?"—comes this latest epiphany that Hussein Obummer has deliberately selected an Ebola czar who will be really good at killing off undesirables with the exotic virus:
Obama's appointment of a man with no medical expertise had pundits stumped, but it makes a tad more sense now. As one of the global elites obsessed with overpopulation, an outbreak of a deadly disease in West Africa is a perfect vehicle for Klain. He can now push an agenda that has occupied the ruling class for over a century. Prince Philip once remarked, "If I were reincarnated I would wish to be returned to earth as a killer virus to lower human population levels." Is Klain set to morph into our first official "population control czar. [sic]"

How To Use Ebola To Create Fear-video

Right-wing media are exploiting the recent outbreak of Ebola in West Africa to stoke fears that undocumented immigrants could carry the deadly virus across the southern U.S. border, even though the Centers for Disease Control and other health experts have stated that the likelihood of such an event is "almost nonexistent." Right-Wing Media Hype Fears That Ebola Will Spread Into U.S. Through The Southern Border

Breitbart.com: Individuals From Nations Suffering From Ebola Exploit "Porous" U.S. Border. On August 3, Breitbart.com claimed that it had obtained "a leaked intelligence analysis from the Customs and Border Protection (CBP)" purporting to show that 71 individuals from Ebola-stricken nations had been caught attempting to illegally enter the U.S.:

Among the significant revelations are that individuals from nations currently suffering from the world's largest Ebola outbreak have been caught attempting to sneak across the porous U.S. border into the interior of the United States. At least 71 individuals from the three nations affected by the current Ebola outbreak have either turned themselves in or been caught attempting to illegally enter the U.S. by U.S. authorities between January 2014 and July 2014. [Breitbart.com, 8/3/14]

Infowars.com: "Ebola May Have Already Crossed Border" And "Be Spreading" Across The U.S. On August 4, conspiracy theorist Alex Jones' website Infowars.com pointed to Breitbart.com's CBP report to claim it showed that "Ebola may have already crossed [the] border, hyping fears that "by shipping illegals to various regions of the U.S., the Obama administration could also be spreading Ebola or another deadly disease carried by an illegal immigrant right now across America." [Infowars.com, 8/4/14]

Drudge Report: "Dozens From Ebola-Struck Countries Caught Sneaking Into USA." On August 3, a Drudge Report headline highlighted Breitbart.com's report by linking immigration to the Ebola crisis: [...]

Laura Ingraham: "We Could Have Ebola People Coming Across The Border Right Now," And We Have A "Very Limited Ability" To Prevent The Disease From Spreading. Laura Ingraham, a contributor to both ABC and Fox News, used the Ebola outbreak in West Africa as an excuse to spread fears that Ebola-infected individuals may be illegally crossing into the U.S.:

INGRAHAM: All the people who are upset about the Ebola-infected patients being treated in the United States. I will say this, at least we know who they are and where they're being treated. We currently have a border that is so much like Swiss cheese that anyone could be coming across the border right now, with any type of illness. And, we have a very limited ability to stop them, track them, prevent the disease from spreading. So before you get all upset about Ebola, we could have Ebola people coming across the border right now. [Courtside Entertainment Group, The Laura Ingraham Show, 8/4/14]
