Ukraine grain exports pick up under UN-backed deal

 

Ukraine's grain exports have picked up, with another two ships departing from Black Sea ports today under a United Nations-backed deal. More than half a million tons of grain have left Ukraine in less than a month.

Grain deadlock: Ukraine is 'two steps away' from a deal with Moscow

 Wednesday's discussions in Istanbul ended with a tentative agreement about how to transport the grain across the Black Sea. Stockpiles stuck in Ukraine have caused global prices to rise sharply, making food less affordable.

Putin doesn't care if there's a world wide famine.  As long as he believes his goals in Ukraine can be achieved.
