Donald Trump's Desperate To Deflect Attention Away From His Failures

Donald Trump is the ultimate example of failing up. He's a horrible businessman and an even worst human being who's incapable of excepting responsibility for his ineptitude looks for targets of opportunity to blame or change the narrative.

Yesterday the fool in chief signed an executive order opening the possibility of America mining the moon for minerals. Yes, that's what's most needed during a global pandemic, space mining. That should help absolutely no one. To further show just how desperate the king of failure is.  He also mentioned the possibility of pardoning Joe Exotic of Tiger King fame from Netflix. It's all just a tease.  He's trying to coattail or hop on the Tiger King's popularity train all in a vain effort to make himself more popular. Not to worry Desperate Donnie it won't work.

Because he's so insecure and needs affirmation from his crazy base of voters he's now attacking the World Health Organization (WHO) over not their failures during the coronavirus outbreak but to cover up his own.

Donald Trump is giving America a giant swirly as the country circles the drain thanks to his ineptitude.

Can Trump Really Pardon Himself?

Take a look at the US Constitution and you’ll find that the president has fairly broad power to pardon individuals accused, charged or convicted of crimes against the federal government. President Trump’s use of pardons early in his presidency, some believe, sends signals to his allies that Trump is willing to pardon them if they’re convicted of a crime in one of the several investigations surrounding the 2016 elections. The president has also repeatedly claimed that he could even pardon himself.

Washington Post: Trump lawyers exploring pardoning powers

By Carol D. Leonnig,Ashley Parker,Rosalind S. Helderman and Tom Hamburger

Some of President Trump’s lawyers are exploring ways to limit or undercut special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s Russia investigation, building a case against what they allege are his conflicts of interest and discussing the president’s authority to grant pardons, according to people familiar with the effort.
Trump has asked his advisers about his power to pardon aides, family members and even himself in connection with the probe, according to one of those people. A second person said Trump’s lawyers have been discussing the president’s pardoning powers among themselves.
Trump’s legal team declined to comment on the issue. But one adviser said the president has simply expressed a curiosity in understanding the reach of his pardoning authority, as well as the limits of Mueller’s investigation.
“This is not in the context of, ‘I can’t wait to pardon myself,” a close adviser said.

Washington Post reporter Ashley Parker (live on Rachel Maddow) said that trump has made no decision and is reading about presidential pardoning power.  It is presented to the reporters as trump trying to find out if he can pardon himself.
Outside legal sources say that if he ever did that, it would go to the Supreme Court immediately.
