Occuoy Wall Street Protest

All Updates will appear at the top of the blog. You know that the police will not allow the protesters to block these intersections for long.

Tensions are really high right now

Police are using the barricades to slam the protesters and the media.  NYPD are attacking members of the press one officer used a barricade to attack  a photographer.
Police are moving against the protesters for removing the barricades.

The protesters at the park are removing the barricades as there are not enough police to stop them.  These barricades are on the south side of the park.

Police are also denying press access even though people with suits are allowed to pass through undeterred

I guy would like to get on the subway but the police won't let him. The only people allowed to pass through the barricades are those with corporate ID

The opening bell for the Stock Exchange is in 11 minutes.

The police are closing off the street as the police are forcing people back onto the sidewalk.
Over 35 arrested including a woman in a wheel chair.

Yet more protesters are being arrested

Mounted police have arrived.  A police van carrying of those arrested is now leaving the area.

People are being arrested right now for sitting in the street another 30 have been arrested at another location.
A person works at 48 Wall Street wasn't allowed to enter the building where he works.

protesters are one block from the Stock Exchange blocking all four intersections.  There have been at least 4 arrests.

The protest has reached the Wall Street Bull which the NYPD is trying very hard to protect after all it is the symbol of greed and wealth so it must be protected at all costs
People are running but the reason why is unknown

They are going to block the intersection. It's similar to what the unions did in Seattle in November of 1999

The group of Occupy Wall Street protesters are within sight of the New York Stock Exchange . However the NYPD has placed barricades around the Exchange preventing the march from going forward.
