The Week That Was

Japanese Internal Affairs and Communications Minister Sanae Takaichi has decided that the best way silence critics of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's government is to rescind the licenses of TV. broadcasters.  All in the name of free speech.

Across the Sea of Japan South Korean President Park Geun-hye  having grown weary of North Korea's missile launches and nuclear bomb tests ordered the closure of the Gaeseong industrial complex.  She figured why help Kim Jong-un steal the workers wages.

The American primary season continues apace with the usual stupidity thrown in just to make sure the world understands that the entire Republican field isn't qualified to run for captain of the school crossing guard.   Ted "God will show me how to govern" Cruz launched a new TV. advert unfortunately there was a small problem.   The actress chosen had on occasion appeared in softcore adult films.  I guess god forgot to tell Ted.

Marco Rubio had other problems.  His hard drive malfunctioned causing him to repeat the same lines over and over again. His opponents accused him of being a robot. He denied this saying he was really an astromech named Chopper.

Carly Fiorina former CEO of Hewlett-Packard and the famous demon sheep ad dropped out of the Republican race for President. She's hoping to devote her time to looking for the newborn who had their brain removed for a transplant operation.  If that doesn't work out there's always employment as a carnival barker.

China's continued efforts at censorship are growing like the Gobi desert.  The government is acting like  a chartiture of Airstrip One part of the superstate Oceania with constant surveillance and restrictions on speech all in an effort to feed the populace government approved propaganda.
