Brussels Zaventem airport hit by deadly explosions













At least one person killed and others injured after blasts at Belgium's main international airport.



Two explosions have hit the Brussels Zaventem airport, killing at least one person and injuring others.
Footage from the scene showed people running from the terminal building as plumes of smoke rose to the sky on Tuesday morning.
Local media reported that up to 12 people had been killed.
The powerful blast caused parts of the ceiling to fall down and windows were shattered.
Zaventem is the country's main international airport.
