What's the solution to the world's drug problem?
For the first time in nearly 20 years, the UN is holding a special session on drug policy.
Around the world, experts are questioning the conventional wisdom that says: to eradicate drugs, you have to punish the people who produce and consume them.
The US was the architect of the so-called war on drugs.
Now, a number of its states are either considering or have already legalised cannabis. Similar moves towards decriminalisation or liberalisation of drug policy are happening in Canada, Mexico and Colombia.
And have already happened in Uruguay and Portugal.
