Donald Trump And His Attacks On A Free Press.

Donald Trump's attacks on the press began during the campaign singling out journalists from those news organizations that, believed had published articles or broadcast reports unfavorable to him. Jorge Ramos from Univision and Katy Tur from NBC were two of his targets.  Mr. Ramos was forcibly removed from a press conference because he wouldn't stop asking Donald Trump questions. Katy Tur of NBC was verbally attacked on numerous occasions during her time covering his campaign. More than once the Secret Service had to provide a security detail so she could safely exit from campaign events.  He also, banned CNN, the Washington Post, New York Times and Buzz Feed at various times from covering his quest for the White House.  His attacks on the media aren't knew.  But, due to the office he holds they are given more weight. 

Assaulting the media in this manner will lead to eventual violence.  Just look at the situation that developed around Comet Ping Pong the suburban Washington D.C. pizzeria which, thanks to a conspiracy theory created online about a supposed child sex ring being run from there led to an armed individual entering the establishment  looking to free the children being held there.  Fortunately no injuries were incurred. What happens when one of Donald Trump's supporters decides to take armed action against a newspaper or television Donald Trump has declared the enemy of the people and engages in a mass killing?

Donald Trump would absolve himself of all responsibility even though it was his incitement which led to the attack.
