Ukraine's President Volodymr Zelenskyy has described the situation at the front as "extremely acute." Fighting has thrown a new spotlight on Russia's Wagner Group -- a private military company led by a millionaire with links to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Many Wagner fighters killed in Ukraine were convicts who were promised freedom in exchange for their service.
