Balloon shot down over US continues to cause tensions between superpowers

The row between Washington DC and Beijing over the Chinese spy balloon has sent relations between the two countries into a tail spin. The balloon spent five days crossing the United States before it was shot down at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina by a US airforce jet.
