With Zelenskyy thousands of kilometers away at the G7, back in Ukraine the head of Russia's Wagner mercenary group has claimed a breakthrough on the battlefield.
Yevgeny Prigozhin claims in this video that his forces have fully captured the eastern city of Bakhmut. Ukraine's military has been quick to deny the ruined city has fallen. Kyiv says its troops are still defending their positions.
