A new row has broken out between the US and China over the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic. This comes after the FBI director, Christopher Wray, confirmed on Tuesday that the agency had decided that the origin of the pandemic was "most likely a potential lab incident" in Wuhan. The coronavirus was first identified in the Chinese city in 2019 - and it is home to a virology lab that conducted research into coronaviruses. Beijing has rejected the claims, accusing Washington of hurting its own credibility.

Trump continues to push Wuhan coronavirus lab claim: 'Somebody was stupid'
Donald Trump has told reporters that 'something happened' when asked about the theory that the virus was released from the Wuhan Institute of Virology. 'Probably it was incompetence. Somebody was stupid,' he said during a meeting with the Texas governor, Greg Abbott. It comes after the US secretary of state, Mike Pompeo, claimed he had seen 'enormous evidence' that the virus had originated at the lab. No evidence has been produced. China has denied the claims.
Donald Trump and his minions will do anything and everything they can to distract Americans from his complete and utter failure as leader during the coronavirus pandemic. The only evidence he's seen has come from his vapid imagination.
