Gaza frontline: an Israeli artillery unit prepares for battle

 

Israeli troops are reported to be fighting Hamas in the heart of Gaza City. Thousands of Israeli soldiers have been sent to the war in Gaza. Meanwhile dozens of Palestinians have been reported killed by Israeli air strikes in the southern Gazan cities of Khan Younis, Rafah and Deir al-Balah.

Ukraine troops plead for heavy weapons amid Russian shelling

 

There's no letup in the fierce fighting raging in Ukraine's eastern industrial heartland, the Donbas region. Ukrainian forces are battling to prevent Russia taking full control of the city of Severodonetsk.
