The Secret Iraq Files
As America withdrawals the last of its military forces this report by Al Jazeera which was originally aired in October of 2010 is still relevant today. America's legacy in Iraq since the March 2003 invasion isn't one to be proud of. Using lies about Iraq's pursuit of chemical, biological and nuclear weapons and the attacks of September 11 2001 as a justification what resulted wasn't a greeting as liberators by the Iraqi people or a stable and secure nation. Instead it was sectarian violence, torture, indefinite incarceration, more than 4,000 American military personnel killed, an untold number of Iraqi civilian deaths and Blackwater a private mercenary army contacted to protect American diplomats who killed innocent civilians and where never prosecuted for these crimes.
