I may be drunk. But I can still give you a thumbs--up Officer

Drunken driving: A 37-year-old Suquamish man was arrested shortly after 11:30 p.m. for being in control of a car while intoxicated after he was found passed out in a vehicle parked in the Day Road-Highway 305 intersection. The suspect’s foot was on the brake but the motor was running and the transmission was in drive. Bainbridge firefighters blocked the wheels to prevent the car from moving and then banged on the windows to get the suspect’s attention. The suspect reportedly woke and gave a “thumbs up” sign with both hands. He had an unopened 12-pack of beer in his rear seat. He failed a field sobriety test, and a breath test indicated he had a blood-alcohol level of .185. The legal limit is .08. He “readily admitted to drinking too much, and that he had done this before eight years ago,” a police officer reported. He was taken to the county jail in Port Orchard and booked on $5,000 bail.
