Gaza prepares for Hamas anniversary rally-vedio

Palestinians in Gaza are gathering on Saturday for a rally to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of Hamas. The gathering is to be led by Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal, who received a hero's welcome after returning from decades in exile. Local Fatah leaders are also due to attend – the first time Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas's faction has taken part in such an event since at least 2007

No matter how one views the Palestinian Liberation Organization or Hamas when you through government policy radicalize a population how do you expect them to react? Like the Jews, Arabs have been in the Middle East just as long yet one might assume that just the opposite was true. How can one change the current dynamic? Given the current mistrust more moderate policies might ever come to the fore because both sides are unwilling to compromise as those proposals might be seen as weakness rather than a path towards peace.
