Crackdown on Vietnam's voices


Bloggers and activists charged with subversion against the state.

How far will Vietnam’s government go to censor bloggers and citizen journalists? Last week, 14 activists were sentenced to up to 13 years in prison for attempted subversion. Human rights groups say Vietnam’s crackdown on dissent is intensifying. We examine the limits of free speech in Vietnam and the role online media is playing in their society.
