Illegal infant trade thrives in Philippines-video




Impoverished mothers fall victim to booming trade in orphans, while some are professional "baby makers".




Hundreds of thousands of children in the Philippines are orphaned every year, and many are abandoned by parents who are too poor to care for them.
Many of the mothers have even become known as "professional baby makers".
Fewer than 300 of those children are legally adopted in the country, but there is a thriving illegal trade in infants.
