16 Year Old Boy Arrested For Insulting The Dear Leader

A 16 year old boy was arrested following a speech he gave at his high school during which he made reference to a corruption scandal involving the Dear Leader.  Expect the person insulted wasn't Kim-Jong un it was Tayyip Erdogan the President of Turkey

Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu defended the arrest, saying the presidential office "needs to be shown respect".
Turkey's penal code makes it a crime to insult the president.
'Everywhere is corruption' The boy's speech, given to commemorate the killing of a Turkish soldier by Islamists in the 1920s, was recorded on video and broadcast by Dogan News Agency.
In it, he defends secularism and the principles of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the modern Turkish republic.
He also singled out President Erdogan for criticism over recent corruption allegations, as the crowd chanted "everywhere is bribery, everywhere is corruption".

Because nothing screams open and free expression of ideas like censoring your critics.

Turkish police arrest 23 in raids on opposition media

Turkish police have detained at least 23 people in orchestrated raids on opposition media outlets with close ties to the US-based Islamic cleric Fethullah Gülen, a key critic of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
The raids came days after Erdoğan announced a fresh operation against supporters of Gülen, a former ally whom Erdoğan accuses of having established a “parallel organisation” – an influential network within state institutions such as the police and judiciary as well as within the media – that aims to overthrow the Justice and Development party (AKP) government. Gülen denies the charge.
The detained, including journalists, producers, scriptwriters, directors, police officers and two former police chiefs, are accused of forming an illegal organisation whose members “engage in forgery and slander”, according to a statement published by the Istanbul public prosecutor’s office.
