Unicef releases (video) showing how children can be abused and exploited in conflict zones
The number of children who have sought asylum in the European Union has almost doubled compared to the same period last year.
Unicef UK has launched a new film highlighting the difficulties faced by children in conflict zones and emergencies.
The video coincides with a new Unicef report showing that the number of children who have sought asylum in the European Union has nearly doubled compared to the same period last year.
With one in ten of the world’s children now growing up in a conflict zone, Unicef UK is calling on the Government to prioritise the protection of children in these difficult environments.
