North Korea has said it is ready to sink a US aircraft carrier to demonstrate its military might, as two Japanese navy ships joined a US carrier group for exercises in the western Pacific.
US President Donald Trump ordered the USS Carl Vinson carrier strike group to sail to waters off the Korean peninsula in response to rising tension over the North’s nuclear and missile tests, and its threats to attack the United States and its Asian allies.
If anyone really believes that North Korea will actually attack the Carl Vinson once its battle group reaches the Sea of Japan is simply foolish as it would lead to the eventual destruction of North Korea and Kim-Jong un's government. The development of nuclear arms by North Korea isn't about war, it's about regime survival.
That being said, don't think for a moment Donald Trump isn't stupid enough to bomb North Korea because they insulted him.
