Getting an interview like this was incredibly difficult since medical professionals in Wuhan can’t freely talk to media right now, so I feel lucky to have been able to have a conversation with Dr. Gong in a fairly “relaxed” setting. After the phone call, I did ask myself if I wasn’t pointed enough with my questions, but I didn’t want to ask a something that he would be unwilling or unable to answer, so if you’re wondering why I didn’t ask X or Y question, that’s why.
