Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland adjust lockdown rules



In Scotland the government has announced that all schoolchildren will be back in their classrooms full time from mid-August, as long as coronavirus cases continue to fall. Ministers in Scotland had planned to implement so-called “blended learning”, combining teaching at school and at home, but some parents said it would be too difficult for them to return to work.
