Can governments give up using fossil fuels to save the climate?

IAE calls for a ban on new coal, gas and oil projects to reach zero carbon dioxide emissions by 2050.

The world’s leading energy agency warned global carbon dioxide emissions are expected to rise at their second-fastest pace ever this year.

Now the International Energy Agency has released a landmark report listing ambitious steps that are needed to cut carbon dioxide emissions to zero in 30 years.
