Israeli forces have withdrawn from Jenin city and its refugee camp in the occupied West Bank after a major nine-day operation there.
The area - a stronghold of militants and with a civilian population of about 60,000 - was targeted in one of the Israel Defense Forces' (IDF) biggest actions in the West Bank for years. The IDF said it was acting against terrorism.
At least 36 Palestinians were killed - 21 from Jenin governorate - the Palestinian health ministry says.
Most of the dead have been claimed by armed groups as members, but the ministry says children are also among those killed.

Sudan: UN mission reports war crimes, calls for peacekeepers
A UN-mandated fact-finding mission has called for an international peacekeeping force to be dispatched to Sudan after documenting war crimes committed by both sides in the country's civil war.
A United Nations backed human rights mission in Sudan on Friday called for an "independent and impartial" peacekeeping force to protect civilians who it suspects have been the victims of war crimes during the country's ongoing civil war.
In a 19-page report based on 182 interviews with survivors, family members and other witnesses, the investigators accused both the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of abuses including the torture, mutilation and murder of civilians.

The city of Paris will honour slain Ugandan Olympic runner Rebecca Cheptegei by naming a sports venue after her, the French capital's mayor Anne Hidalgo announced on Friday.
Cheptegei, who competed in the women's marathon during the Paris Olympics last month, succumbed to severe burns on Thursday after being doused with petrol and set on fire by her boyfriend at her home in Kenya.
"She dazzled us here in Paris. We saw her. Her beauty, her strength, her freedom, and it was in all likelihood her beauty, strength and freedom which were intolerable for the person who committed this murder," Hidalgo told reporters.
Super typhoon Yagi makes landfall in China's Hainan
By Farah Master
Asia's strongest storm this year, Super Typhoon Yagi, made landfall along the coast of China's Hainan province on Friday, bringing gales and heavy rain which shut schools for a second day and cancelled flights in the South China Sea region.
Packing maximum sustained winds of 234 km per hour (145 mph) near its centre, Yagi registers as the world's second-most powerful tropical cyclone in 2024 so far, after the Category 5 Atlantic hurricane Beryl, and the most severe in the Pacific basin this year.
After more than doubling in strength since killing 16 people in the northern Philippines earlier this week, Yagi slammed into the city of Wenchang on Hainan island.
Video footage appears to show Russians killing surrendering Ukrainian soldiers
The troops emerge and stagger into the middle of the dusty track, then onto their knees, their hands placed on their heads. Seconds later, the Ukrainian drone footage shows, they lie face down, motionless, dust trailing nearby.
Video obtained exclusively by CNN, filmed during fighting late August near the embattled city of Pokrovsk in eastern Ukraine, shows an apparent execution by Russian troops of three surrendering Ukrainians, after their trench was overrun.
The incident, described by a Ukrainian official who asked for some details to be withheld to protect the identity of the unit, is part of a pattern of apparent executions, seemingly increasing in pace this year.
