How ignorant does one have to be to not see the resemblance between these costumes and Waffen SS uniforms?
A popular Japanese girl band set up by an executive board member of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics organising committee has been criticised for giving a Halloween concert in costumes modelled on Nazi Waffen-SS uniforms.
Keyakizaka46, a spin-off of the phenomenally popular AKB48 J-pop stable formed by Yasushi Akimoto, donned black military-style costumes similar to those worn by the paramilitary wing of Hitler’s Nazi party. Publicity photos showed members wearing peaked caps featuring a bird insignia that resembles the Parteiadler eagle emblem of the Nazis.
Let's face it Hamas is no humanitarian organization nor are they a simple political party wishing to represent the people of the Gaza Strip. Hamas is classified as a terrorist group yet that doesn't mean they represent the majority of the Palestinian people. Given that how could anyone state that the innocent civilians living in the Gaza Strip are nothing more than terrorists deserving the punishment meted out by the IDF. A former general in the IDF not only believes this but he compared the Gaza Strip to Nazi Germany.
Retired Major Gen. Giora Eiland thinks Israel is making a big mistake in its weeks-long Gaza offensive. In an opinion column in Israel's Ynet News, the former head of Israel's National Security Council argues Tuesday that his country should not "feel obligated to supply Gaza's residents with food, fuel, and electricity," because "in Gaza, there is no such thing as 'innocent civilians.'" Purposefully punishing the entire population of Gaza, instead of targeting Hamas, may sound harsh, Eiland concedes, but the Gaza residents "are to blame for this situation just like Germany's residents were to blame for electing Hitler as their leader and paid a heavy price for that, and rightfully so." He continues: Hamas is not a terror organization which came from afar and forcibly occupied Gaza. It's the authentic representative of the population there. It rose to power following democratic elections and built an impressive military ability with the residents' support. Its power base has remained stable despite the suffering.... Because we want to be compassionate towards those cruel people, we are committing to act cruelly towards the really compassionate people — the residents of the State of Israel. [Ynet News]
According to the "general" the Israeli government should turn to the old fashioned siege to completely destroy the Gaza Strip its people, economy, government and civil society. Perhaps they really go all the way and launch infested bodies into the Gaza Strip and sit back slowly watch everyone die.
Japanese Deputy Prime Minister Taro Aso in speech earlier this week decided that chanaling Nazi's was the best way to describe the Liberal Democratic Parties (LDP) efforts to revise Japan's constitution. Which if successful would allow for Japan's military to intervene in international conflicts which at present is prohibited.
Aso drew outrage for saying Japan should learn from how the Nazi party stealthily changed Germany's constitution before the second world warbefore anyone realised it, and for suggesting that Japanese politicians should avoid controversy by making quiet visits to Tokyo's Yasukuni war shrine. Speaking to reporters, Aso said on Thursday that he had been misunderstood and only meant to say that loud debate over whether Japan should change its postwar constitution, and other issues, was not helpful. "It is very unfortunate and regrettable that my comment regarding the Nazi regime was misinterpreted," Aso told reporters. "I would like to retract the remark."
Taro Aso didn't misspeak he simply got caught saying out loud what the LDP believes in and wants. To return Japan to a time when authoritarian rule was accepted by the populace as Japan's only salvation. Japan's Liberal Democratic Party lives in a bubble so perverse that it's difficult to understand how they continue rule Japan.
How they successfully win elections is through fear. Fear of the future, fear of the present, fear of change and fear of the subjegation of the Japan by unknown outside forces.
