People Are Different : Or, Japanese Politicians are Clueless and an American Gun Nut Thinks He's Gandhi

Toru Hashimoto the mayor of Osaka doubles down on his Stupidity

Osaka Mayor and Nippon Ishin no Kai (Japan Restoration Party) coleader Toru Hashimoto refused Wednesday to back down from his comments about the necessity of the “comfort woman” system during the war or the desirability of legal brothels in Okinawa for U.S. military personnel.“During the Korean and Vietnam wars, local women were recruited by the U.S. as prostitutes for the military, although official U.S. policy was that the women and men were acting on their own,” Hashimoto said.
On his advice to American officials in Okinawa earlier this month that U.S. military personnel should make more use of sex establishments as a way of controlling their sexual urges, Hashimoto said he did not tell the U.S. that it should use such facilities, or to build such facilities, noting it was only a suggestion.
When the stupid hits one this hard perhaps its time for an extended holiday away from politics and the media.  Thus killing the urge to insert foot into ones mouth up to the kneecap.

Shinzo Abe sits in the wrong airplane

Major South Korean newspapers splashed a photo of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in a military trainer jet on their front pages Wednesday, saying it was a reminder of Japan’s colonial-era atrocities.
The picture in question showed a smiling Abe giving a thumbs-up while sitting in the cockpit of an air force T-4 training jet emblazoned with the number 731.
The number evoked memories of Unit 731—a covert Japanese biological and chemical warfare research facility that carried out lethal human experiments during the 1937-45 Sino-Japanese War and World War II.
The unit was based in the northeastern Chinese city of Harbin, and held prisoners from China, South Korea and the Soviet Union.

Because Shinzo Abe lives in convoluted bubble of history which was constructed after  indulging in history as written  by the delusional why wouldn't the South Korean press be up in arms

American Gun Guy Thinks He's Gandhi

On July 4, Adam Kokesh hopes to lead 1,000 protesters armed with guns into Washington, D.C. to advocate for open carry. In Kokesh’s eyes, a crowd armed with guns compares to the nonviolent civil disobedience practiced by Mahatma Gandhi.
Kokesh answered the Washington Post through a series of text messages:
Satyagraha, in Gandhi’s words, is “a way of life based on love and compassion.” Gandhi explained that “[i]n the application of Satyagraha I have discovered in the earliest stages that pursuit of truth did not admit of violence being inflicted on one’s opponent but that he must be weaned from error by patience and sympathy.”
Compare Satyagraha to Kokesh’s event description on Facebook. Although Kokesh claims his march will “peacefully turn back” if confronted with “physical resistance,” he ominously warns the march will be violent if “the government chooses to make it violent.” He also proclaims that “[w]e will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs to put the government on notice that we will not be intimidated & cower in submission to tyranny.”
Because open carry is illegal in D.C., the police chief has already warned that “passing into the District of Columbia with firearms is a violation of the law and we’ll have to treat it as such.” Even open carry groups like Gun Owners of America are wary of the march, which is now at over 4,000 Facebook RSVPs.

I'm completely positive that Gandhi who advocated for nonvilotent civil disobedience would be just be falling all over himself to endorse this complete violence loving moron.
