TEPCO starts pumping out toxic groundwater from Fukushima plant

TEPCO is the Richard Nixon of corporations constantly telling lies while insisting they are keeping the public well informed.  Next TEPCO will proclaim they are not crooks while stealing everything you own claiming their theft of your property will only improve your situation.    Finally they'll give a speech about how you won't have TEPCO to kick around anymore as they have always operated in their customers best interests and now they will fade quietly into history proclaiming historians will prove them correct.

Perhaps TEPCO can get Sir David Frost to help in their rehabilitation
The operator of the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant said Saturday it has started pumping out radioactive groundwater to reduce leakage into the Pacific ocean.
Tokyo Electric Power Co (TEPCO) began the work after it admitted last month that radioactive groundwater had been seeping out of the plant, confirming long-held suspicions that the sea was being contaminated.
The company said it pumped out 13 tons of groundwater from a well between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday.
By mid-August, TEPCO plans to complete a new system enabling it to pump out 100 tons of groundwater a day. The water will be filtered and recycled to cool the reactors.
But there are growing fears that existing facilities will soon be overwhelmed, as TEPCO scrambles to find ways to process and store waste water.
