How the coronavirus pandemic challenges dementia patients and nurses

 

The risk of severe coronavirus symptoms rises steeply with age. Nine in 10 deaths have been people over 60. There's more evidence showing a person with dementia in a care home is actually at higher risk of catching COVID-19.
