Lockdowns force women to get unsafe abortions

 

The coronavirus is pushing more women to seek illegal abortions, as lockdowns limit healthcare. There are 25 million unsafe abortions every year, almost half all terminations worldwide. And now the pandemic is eroding hopes of progress.
