Palestinian health officials in the Gaza Strip say a total of 20 people, including nine children, have been killed by Israeli airstrikes in the territory. The strikes came after Hamas militants fired rockets from Gaza towards Jerusalem, after hundreds of Palestinians were injured in clashes at a Muslim holy site.
