Efforts that continue today with the closing of minority only polling stations, eliminating or reducing early voting days, gerrymandering of districts and passing laws that require a specific type of idea to vote. And now this: Governor Greg Abbott has decided to deploy the Texas National Guard to polling stations throughout the state. All in an effort to "protect" the vote.
