Donald Trump has accused China of "stealing" a US Navy drone, which was seized in international waters of the South China sea on Friday. 
The President-elect tweeted on Saturday: "China steals United States Navy research drone in international waters - rips it out of water and takes it to China in unpresidented [sic] act."

Police apologize to stabbed pop idol for inaction over stalking case

Police said Friday they have apologized to an aspiring pop idol for their inaction in addressing her complaints about being stalked by a fan, in a formal acknowledgement of their failure months after she was stabbed.
“It was a case in which the police should have judged it necessary to swiftly ensure her safety,” the Tokyo police said, announcing the outcome of a probe on whether their response was appropriate.

Tokyo's Metropolitan Police's reaction to this woman's complaints about being stalked perfectly encapsulates how Japanese  view wome. As second class citizens.



600,000 storm Seoul streets in 8th anti-president rally

The 8th mass anti-President rally is under way in downtown Seoul on Saturday. As of 7 p.m., nearly 600,000 people joined the protest, demanding the Constitutional Court speed up its review of the endorsed impeachment motion against President Park Geun-hye and make a ruling removing Park from the Presidency permanently.

J&K: 3 soldiers killed after terrorists attack army convoy in Pampore

Three soldiers were killed after militants opened fire on an army convoy in Pampore in Pulwana district on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, the Army said on Saturday. Search operation is underway. Security forces have cordoned off the adjoining residential area and launched search operation to track down the militants, a police official said.
