Representative Louie Gohmert is a Republican Congressman from Texas during the floor debate in the U.S. House of Representatives Congressman Gohmert had this to say about the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. (DADT is law passed in 1993 that prevents openly gay Americans from serving in the military.)
To my friend who said that history would judge us poorly, I would submit if you would look thoroughly at history – and I'm not saying it's cause and effect – but when militaries throughout history of the greatest nations in the world have adopted the policy that 'fine for homosexuality to be over' – you can keep it private and control your hormones fine, if you can't, that's fine too – they're toward the end of their existence as a great nation.”
“Lets look at this more carefully before we harm our military,” he added.
Representative Golhmert isn't just homophobic he's also a racist.
"It appeared they would have young women who became pregnant [and] would get them into the United States to have a baby. They wouldn't even have to pay anything for the baby," Gohmert said. "And then they would return back where they could be raised and coddled as future terrorists. And then one day, 20, 30 years down the road, they can be sent in to help destroy our way of life."I wonder what it must like to have the worlds largest Tin Foil Hat permanently attached to your head feed you all these conspiracy theories which then placed into the Congressional Record for future historians to laugh at. Sadly the fool isn’t even embarrassed by any of this. Homophobe
