Once Again NHK Proves Its Ignorance About Politics In The U.S.

NHK today proved that just because you have a corespondent in Washington doesn't mean they know anything about politics in America or about its government.

In the 2010 Midterm Elections the Republicans regain control of the House of Representatives after winning 60 seats. They did not gain control of the Senate and as far as I can tell Barrack Obama is still President. With that in mind the Republican controlled House can pass all the repeal this and real that legislation they want it will never be signed into law as the Senate has to agree and the President has the power to veto any law so passed.

Yes, the Republicans along with Democrats did read the U.S. Constitution its just that they didn't read the entire document as their news cast stated.

These are some of the parts not read.

No Person held to Service or Labour in one State, under the Laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in Consequence of any Law or Regulation therein, be discharged from such Service or Labour, but shall be delivered up on Claim of the Party to whom such Service or Labour may be due.
What this means is that an escaped slave no matter where they are captured shall be returened to the state from which they fled

Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons.
This states that a black person is not a person
