Late Night Ignoring Asia

Locally grown flowers?

Coles, Woolworths and florists are misleading consumers by selling ''freshly cut'' flowers grown in Kenya, Vietnam and Ecuador.
The flowers, including lilies, roses and orchids, are flown into Australia and appear on the shelf up to seven days after they are picked.
Peak flower bodies in NSW and Victoria are calling for an industry overhaul, including mandatory country of origin labelling and a shelf-life expiry date.

Ecuador, Kenya and Vietnam all locally grown for freshness

How not to enter a police station or run for office.

A man drove his car through the glass doors at the entrance of police headquarters in Otsu, Shiga Prefecture, on Friday night, then got out of his vehicle and started a fire.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Akihiro Moriguchi, 35, rammed his car into the entrance of the building at about 11 p.m. Friday. NTV reported that he then got out of the car, brandishing a bar in one hand, and poured a gasoline-type liquid on the floor. He set fire to the liquid with a lighter.

Perhaps a tin foil hat is needed?
